It truly rarely happens that Oliver tells me he likes the lipstick that I am wearing, especially when it isn't a nude color. Mostly, he runs far away when I try to give him a colorful kiss. I was really surprised when he told me he liked the lipstick.

I am talking about Clinique's '07 Boom Pop'*, a lovely member of the purple lipstick family, a color that I don't normally gravitate to. Clinique send me some to test for you guys. The other color I received is '03 Candied Apple Pop'*.

The formula is very comfortable, the finish does not turn completely matte on me. The shape of the applicator is new to me. It is a 3D rounded applicator with a pointy tip. The application was a bit tricky and I had to improve it with a lip brush. A difference to other liquid lipsticks is that it is very hydrating. It contains sunflower and avocado oil. It does not dry out my lips.
