At the Edge of the Blackwood Forest
Can't say it often enough that I love living in beautiful Germany. I have the Blackwood Forest right at my feet and I love spending time in it.
Yesterday was a gloomy day with small sections of sun in between. Enjoy the pictures.

ReplyDeleteI liked this one! Is this the same place as the "Blackwood Forest and Bodensee" post from September? Love the close up of the moss. Hope Oliver & yourself are enjoying your precious time off from relentless touring.Keep on trucking!

I absolutely love the picture of you jumping, it made me laugh! Germany is a really beautiful country, and I plan on living there myself. I recently found out that most of my family is originally from Germany. It's very exciting. Now all I have to do is learn the language, which will be happening very soon. Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteFlying Squirrel! haha lovely! looks cold! the last one is so cute :) Beautiful forest!!
ReplyDeleteWhen did you start learning German and English? I'm not sure if I've ever heard you speak German, but you seem to be fluent in English. So far I've taken French and Japanese classes, so I know how difficult it is to learn a new language.
ReplyDeleteMost people in Europe are multilingual. Have you heard the song "Falsches Spiel"? Simone sings in German on that song. It's the German version of "Run For A Fall" It's a bonus track from the "We Will Take You With Us" CD. It's such a beautiful performance, one of my favourite EPICA songs,Sends shivers up my spine every time.
DeleteYes, I have heard that song. It's very beautiful :)
DeleteSimone's German is flawless now :)
DeleteLove the pictures! I definitely want to go to the blackwood forest once!enjoy yourself living at that beautiful place! :-)

Hey, your youtube channel is offline. Any word for it please?
ReplyDeleteI'm quite sad that both channels have been deleted. I loved the Q&A video. Simone responded to a question I submitted on that so it was very special to me. I'm worried for Simone I think she has been hurt greatly. It was nice to see the messages of love & support on Simone's facebook page, I even left a very very long message there myself.
DeleteI hope Simone will still interact with us online. Every time I see a new blog post or video from Simone I am overwhelmed with joy.
"At the edge of the Blackwood Forest" is a perfect name for a CD from doom metal band. :D
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, good to see you're enjoying such a nice weather. :)
WoW beautiful place,and funny pics,very nice :)
