Bottoms Up!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Here's my latest liquid addiction; David Rio's Power Chai (tea).
I have my neighbor to thank for my latest drinking habits. She introduced me to the 'Chai Latte' about a year ago. It didn't take long for me to buy my own 'little' (400gram) container which was empty in no time.
Since I like it so much, I bought the 1,4 kilo package, which is now proudly standing in the kitchen. I bought it at Amazon.de. Here is the American link: Amazon.com.
How I fix my drink;
- 3 tea spoons of powder
- Hot water
- Shot of milk (can be cold or hot)
It can be made with only milk, but I prefer the lighter version. It can also be enjoyed cold. Whatever is to your liking.

Chai Latte is so utterly delicious!

Hi! I had an indian friend who used to drink Chai tea. He taught me to drink it without water, just hot milk and a bit of sugar. Is delicious!

ReplyDeleteBut unfortunally, I live in Italy, I don't know if I ever get to this without waiting a lifetime and spending blions -__-
I love chai tea, especially Teaopia's Masala Chai, but I find that teas with a black tea base dry out my throat really bad, so I avoid it when I have to sing. But, the masala chai made with just hot water and agave nectar is amazing. It's good with a splash of milk too. You should try it the next time you're in Canada. Teaopia only has stores in Canada.

ReplyDeletehave you tried the traditional Chai Tea from DM yet? The Chai Tea from Alnatura is really good, too. You get it traditional, sweet with vanilla or hot with chilli.It´s not a pouder just normal Tea, but its really tasty with o without milk :)

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your tea Simone. I've never tried that kind before. In Scotland I think only normal tea is aviable. If I ever visit you, I take a splash of milk or soy or almond milk & a tea spoon of sweetner or honey. Just so you know.
